Ashfield played well and looked fitter and faster than Maryhill in all departments. There were plenty of interested onlookers..I seen Ian McCall of Thistle and Jim Chapman of Dumbarton at the game. Do you find this valuable?

Congratulations on your achievement, as a Partick Thistle fan I have been taking an interest in your results since hearing we were interested in your striker Craig Smith. I see that he scored another 2 goals today - have any of you heard about him signing for the Jags and if he comes to Firhill what type of player are we getting?

Hope you can stay up next season and enjoy your success tonight.

That's a bit of an assumption, considering Ashfield win their last game they will still finish 13 points behind Glencairn. Surely the Scottish Cup run didn't make that much of a difference ? It may have been closer, but Glencairn would still have won the league.

craig smith has had a brilliant season ,scored important goals and would be a great asset to any team at any level . he has lots of pace , great worker and gets stuck in about defenders and causes problems bit more strength and would be the total package and hope thistle follow up their interest and he will do you,s a turn

Craig Smith has had a great season at Ashfield, however he's not the only player that deserves the credit. New signing Ally Martin has made his mark and has proved to be a smart move on the manager's part. His skill and goal scoring ability must be attracting attention. Hope we can hang on to a player of this caliber for next season?

I believe Sawyers is heading to Albion Rovers next season - got to take hat off to him for 43 goals this season but Big Jim Smith & Paul Mangon had him in their pockets yesterday.

Fanatastic acheivment today to all at Ashfield. The squad have been magnificent and one of which will be the envy of a lot of Junior clubs. Some real talent throughout the team along with players with the right commitment for the cause. If Stevie can keep this team together he will be doing well and would have nothing to fear stepping into the Super First with the squad of players he has at his disposal. Well Don Again and look forward to seeing you next season. Do you find this valuable?
