Next round of Fixtures see Ashfield play Dunipace at Home this Friday (18/04/08) in the Central League Cup 2nd Round. Ashfield then head on their travels to Glencairn on Monday night (21/04/08) and then head to Moor Park, Lanark on Sat. 26/04/2008 to take on the League Leaders.

Ashfield score in injury time to secure a 2-2 draw today (05/04/08) against Port Glasgow at Saracen Park. Mark Thomson and a first ever Junior goal for Jamie Reilly were the Ashfield scorers in a bad tempered affair which ended with both sides finishing with 10-men. Match Report and Pics now on. Ashfield narrowly lose 2-1 this afternoon (29/03/08) against Yoker Athletic at Holm Park. Ashfield trailed 2-0 at the Interval, however pulled a goal back early in the 2nd half through Martin Gault (Photo below). Ashfield defeat Benburb 4-2 at Tinto Park this afternoon and move into 2nd Place in the League (15/03/08). Ian Garscadden has signed for Blantyre Vics. A signing from Shettleston at the start of the season has moved on to Castle Park. We wish him all the best.

Ashfield have a Home tie against Dunipace F C in the Second Round of the Central League Cup, after receiving a bye in the First Round. Date to follow.

Ashfield draw 0-0 with Yoker Athletic at Saracen Park this afternoon (15th December). A very competitive game with few chances until the latter stages of the match. A draw was probably a fair result. Match report and photos now on.



A brilliant Second-Half Performance from Ashfield, in awful conditions at McKenna Park, Govan this afternoon secured a memorable 4-2 win against St Anthony`s. Trailing 2-1 midway through the Second Half, Ashfield produced an amazing 25 minutes against a very good Team to keep the `field up with the leaders. Match report and photos now on.

Ashfield are knocked out of the Scottish Junior Cup this afternoon by high flying Lochee United by 4-1. A harsh scoreline on the `field as 2 late goals took the gloss off a battling performance. There`s

Ashfield defeat Larkhall Thistle today (17th Nov) 2-0 at Saracen Park. A first half goal from Kevin Miller was then added to in the 2nd half from Darren 'Dazzler' O'Donnell. An excellent performance from Ashfield. Match report and photos to follow shortly.

Ashfield lose only their 2nd League Match of the season, going down 3-1 at Cumbernauld Utd this afternoon in an end to end match. Ashfield`s goal coming from Joe Tartaglia from the penalty spot. Ashfield reduced to 10 men, after dismissal of Paul Maxwell, midway through the second half.

Ashfield march into the 3rd Round of the Scottish Junior Cup after defeating Shettleston 4-1 at Saracen Park this afternoon. A devastating 2nd Half performance sealed a huge win for the 'Field'. Ashfield defeat Dunipace today 2-0 at Denny, Falkirk. Ashfield scored after 30 mins from a header from Paul Maxwell and doubled their lead 3 minutes later with a thunderbolt from Gordon Passmore from 35 Yards. Match report and great Pics now on!!!.

There will be an Ashfield F & A C Display running the month of November at the Scottish Football Museum, Hampden Park, Glasgow.

Ashfield are defeated 1-0 by a controversial second half spot-kick at Port Glasgow this afternoon in a game spoiled by the Referee Mr Tait, who booked 5 Ashfield Players, sent 3 Ashfield Players off, and saw fit to award two penalties to Port Glasgow. Match report and photos now on.

Ashfield defeat the `Candy Rock` this afternoon 3-0 in a tousy affair at Provanmill, Glasgow. Three second half goals from Maxwell (pen), O`Donnell & a brilliant header from Dave Gumley, after great work from Stevie Martin on the wing, gave the `field an excellent three points at a very difficult venue. Ashfield incredibly lose 6-4 to Maryhill F C at Saracen Park this Afternoon. Chalmers (2) & Maxwell (2) had Ashfield on easy street at 4-0, until Ashfield`s Goalkeeper McGovern received an injury. Ashfield then capitulated and conceded 6 Second Half goals to finish the Section in disappointing fashion.

Ashfield lose 2-1 at home against Clydebank. Thomson opened the scoring for Ashfield in the 2nd Half but a debatable penalty resulted in Clydebank equalising and then a goal 3 minutes from time sealed the win for Clydebank. Match report and photos now on.

An excellent 4-0 win for Ashfield at Perthshire this afternoon. Pattison, Thomson & Chalmers (2) continued Ashfield`s impressive start to the season. Match report and Photos now on.
